Who I am
I was born on a Sunday in Americana, Sรฃo Paulo, a small city founded by a group of American Confederates who left the U.S. after the Civil War in the 1860s and settled there.
I'm the eldest daughter in my family (Alexa, play Eldest Daughter by Taylor Swift), and growing up you'd find me either out on our family farm, swimming, chasing chickens or reading.
I have been into pop culture for as long as I can remember.
As a kid, I loved watching Disney Channel. I watched the shows so many times in Portuguese that eventually I decided to switch the TV to English, and since I already knew all the lines by heart in Portuguese, I could figure out what everything meant from context, slowly connecting the English words and sentences to what I already knew.
I then complemented it with music. I remember asking my mom to print out the lyrics to The Climb by Miley Cyrus alongside their Portuguese translations. I'd sit there comparing the two, trying to figure out why each word was there and how the sentences were put together.
That's basically how I taught myself English. I later did the same with Spanish and Italian. Though I'm not fluent on both, I can keep a good conversation going.
When I was seven, my cousin took me to Disneyland, and it was my first time traveling internationally.
I remember how magical everything felt and how exciting it was to realize that the English I'd been picking up could actually help me communicate with people in the real world.
Traveling the world then became my dream.
I've now visited over 20 countries, and somehow, every new trip still feels a little unreal.
I love discovering new cultures and history, but my favorite memories are rarely the places I've seen on a postcard or on TV. They're usually much smaller: walking through unfamiliar streets, sitting down for coffee, trying something local, or simply watching how people go about their everyday lives.
That's still what I love most about traveling: getting to step into a world that's different from my own for a little while.
It's a feeling I never want to lose, and I hope I never stop being grateful for it.
Off the clock
I enjoy trying new things. Some become passing experiments, others turn into little worlds of their own. Each of them become places where I can be creative, slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being present.
Haircare
Currently a redhead but I've had every color and haircut over the years. I just love trying out new products and experimenting with different versions of myself.
Watercolor
Currently working through cute animal portraits :)
Learning Korean
I'm learning Korean mainly through BTS lyrics. I break down verses line by line, Hangul to romanization to meaning. Definitely a challenge, but I'm enjoying it!
Food
I'm a big foodie: ramen and sushi are my go-to, but I love trying out new things and have the biggest sweet-tooth!

I'm naturally cautious, but I've learned that some of the best experiences begin when you say yes before you know what will happen.
I love recruiting, but...
What comes after is my favorite part. The last few years I had a chance to participate in many events, from social impact to team building, and I loved each one of them! I also have fun creating content for our socials.
